Walking Into The Forest

An environment layout and lighting test in UE5, The scene is inspired by John Park’s awesome concept, I’d try to get a similar atmosphere of mystery, warm, peaceful feel from the original concept.
The big wood log and rock are my scanned assets. The monk pose and costume are simulated in the Marvelous Designer. The background pine trees are done in SpeedTree. The bamboo is modified from the SpeedTree store asset. The bushes assets, pebbles, and rock ground are from Quixel megascan. Unreal 5.3 Lumen Nanite has really helped bring everything together in a way that I'm excited about. Overall, it's been an awesome learning experience, and I'm thrilled to have finished this comprehensive practice with a sense of satisfaction.
